The long standing problems of land troubles for investors in the state are soon going to witness solution. The Bihar Government has almost done with the drafting of the policy for setting up private industrial parks in the state. The Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will unveil policy for private industrial parks at Udyami Panchayat on 29th April, 2013 at Rajgir. One of the senior officials of the industries department told media that the government wanted the land policies to be one of the best policies in the country so they have studied policies of the other states. They have also incorporated suggestions of trade and industrial bodies in this policy

Chitranjar Dar, divisional CEO of ITC’s foods division said that ITC’s first set of dairy products will be shelf-stable. The list of the products that will be coming to the market are fortified milk, milk powder, long-life packaged milk and so on. The company started the dairy business as part of the integrated animal husbandry programme- the firm’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative and company is now in the process of taking it to the next level.

เมื่อกลางเดือนเมษายน 2556 นาย Partha Chatterjee รัฐมนตรีพาณิชย์และอุตสาหกรรมของรัฐฯ กล่าวว่าบริษัท Anheuser Busch India ผู้ผลิตเบียร์อเมริกันตรา Budweiser ในอินเดีย แสดงความสนใจจะลงทุนสร้างโรงผลิตเบียร์ในรัฐเบงกอลตะวันตก และข้อมูลจากแหล่งข่าวระบุว่าจะมีมูลค่าการลงทุน 4,000 ล้านรูปีต่อโรงงงาน ซึ่งต้องการพื้นที่ 50 เอเคอร์ต่อโรงงาน --------Other than Carlsberg the renowned global beer brand, Budweiser which is a leading beer brand in USA is planning to set up a ‘state-of-the-art brewery’ in West Bengal. Lately it has been observed that this beer brand market is one of the fastest-growing beer markets in India.

การลงทุนจากต่างประเทศ (FDI) ในรัฐเบงกอลตะวันตกในช่วง10 เดือนแรกของปี 2555 – 2566 มีมูลค่ามากกว่า 19,000 ล้านรูปี คิดเป็นร้อยละ 1 ของการลงทุน FDI ทั้งประเทศอินเดีย (ในขณะที่ในปี 2554-2555 มูลค่าการลงทุน FDI อยู่ที่ 18,000 ล้านรูปี) ในขณะที่รัฐอื่นๆ ได้รับการลงทุนลดลง และอัตราการเติบโตทางอุตสาหกรรมของรัฐฯ สูงถึงร้อยละ 6.24 ซึ่งเป็นอัตราสูงเกือบสองเท่าตัวของอัตราการเติบโตอุตสากรรมของประเทศโดยเฉลี่ย 　

นางสาวมามาตา บาเนอร์จี มุขมนตรีรัฐเบงกอลตะวันตกกล่าวถึงงบประมาณของรัฐฯ ในปีนี้เปรียบเสมือนการทำสวนในทะเลทราย ในงบประมาณปี 2555 – 2556 ประมาณการรายได้จากภาษีไว้ 312,222,500,000 รูปี แต่เก็บได้จริง 324,052,100,000 รูปี เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 30 จากปี 2554 – 2556 ปีนี้คาดว่าจะเก็บภาษีได้เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 24 เป็นทั้งสิ้น 397,830 ล้านรูปี
